Which kind of Underline phrase is above Gerund Phrase or participial phrase?

I think, It's participial phrase? because someone's answer is gerund phrase.

Pl. make my confusion clear.

May be you could understand better than I am.

amounts of pickled fish = amounts of fish that dry with salt for eating after some months.
absorbent = may be fish get that property after cooking
