While riding motorcycle in traffic jam I pressed the clutch half and gave throttle(increased the speed while still holding the clutch halfway through) which in result distorted my motorcycle's clutch plate.

Is it correct to say "gave throttle"?

"I half pressed the clutch" or "pressed it half"?

Note the adjustments to your question.
My memory of riding a motorcycle is that you squeeeze the clutch, rather than press.
"Gave it some throttle", or "opened the throttle", or "touched the throttle"; I think they would sound better than gave throttle.
"Squeezed the clutch half-way", I suggest is better.
True Bikers may have a more up to date version of this. In a car, you might say "I was riding the clutch". As you say, it's inadvisable as the clutch is likely to be damaged.
