What is the positive or normal meaning of the word "gangster"? because it sometimes refer to just a person of a certian type may be but they are way too far from being a ccriminal!

Ex: Too Short (the rapper) is the ultimate OG (original gangster)

I like how you asked "What is the positive ... meaning of the word 'gangster'?" because the literal meaning is negative! The slang meaning is positive, I never thought of it that way!

Criminal gangsters are tough, mean, determined, brave, serious... So some people like to be described as gangster (adjective) or, in slang terms, gangsta, to show they have these characteristics.

So perhaps this Too Short is saying that he's one of the original "gangsta rappers"? Haha, I don't know, I don't really listen to rap! :lol:
