Hi everyone!
Can you help me please wih my english correspondence...
English is not my native. I wrote in mail to another person following phrase "I thank you from the front of "XXX" (name of organization) for the warm welcome" and my colleagues found fault in the part of sentence "from the front of". Can you tell me please, whether their objection is justified and if it is, how can I say this correctly?

Hello girl888, and welcome to the forum.
What you wrote doesn't seem very natural. I'm not even sure what you wanted to say.

Perhaps you meant:
On behalf of ABCD, I thank you for the warm welcome."

If not, please post back and explain what you intended to convey as well as the context.

Note also that I've changed the title of your thread to make it more relevant to the content of your post.
