Hello,

Do we establish a cooperation with someone or we develop it? Which one makes better sense in the following sentence?

"Our company has formed/created/developed/established a close cooperation with several academic institutions, thereby creating an academic and innovative environment for the staff"

Thanks.

I'd use "established". Others might choose something else.

"Developed" would also be good.

'Established' sounds good as it implies a relationship that has been built over a period of time. 'Working relationship' or 'rapport' can also be used.
