What is the difference between "for the sake of " and "for the purpose of"?
Offhand, I don't see any difference, but if you can use each in a sentence I might change my mind. What is the difference between "for the sake of " and "for the purpose of"?
Offhand, I'd say for the sake of vanity..... for the sake of vanity
.... for the purpose of vanity
