Hello,

Both words have more or less the same meaning in a dictionary. I'm just wondering if they can be used interchangeably.

a) a floral skirt

b) a flowery skirt

c) floral wallpaper

d) flowery wallpaper

e) floral vase (vase with a flower pattern)

f) flowery vase (vase with a flower pattern)

Best regards,

Nawee

A through D work for me. When you get to E and F, there may be some confusion, particularly with E. Are the flowers in or on the vase?
