What doe sthis "feature" mean? The translation goes "make an individual artist the main (character) player" and I think it's a liberal translation.

An orchestra might play a work in which there is a prominent part for, say, violin. In this case a guest violinist, or the principal violinist of the orchestra, may be featured and is often named individually in the concert program.

So I feel the translation is alright.
