Favor on / Favor to

My friend had sent me the following message through whatsapp. I think in it, "favor to" will be correct to use instead of "favor on". Please guide me.

Thank you so much. I was feeling afraid that whether you will accept it or not. By accepting it, you did favour on me.

Thank you very much. I was afraid you wouldn't accept it. You did me a favour by accepting it.

I've also heard "You did a favour to me" but "did me a favour" sounds more natural.
Note that "favour" needs an article.
 
Definitely don't use "on". If you use "to", it will be understandable but neither correct nor natural. If you must use a preposition, use "for". However, as Barque said, use "... you did me a favour".
