What kinds of modals can complete this question tag? I would choose "should". Is there any possibility for "will" , "would" or "could"?

- Let us assume for a moment that we could indeed fire her. ........ we?

None of the modals you mention is likely, though could is possible.

Let us assume for a moment that we could indeed fire her, shall we?

Is "should" ungrammatical?

If so, what's the reason that Longman has used should here.(this is Longman's example in "assume" entry)

Are you saying that Longman have given "Let us assume for a moment that we could indeed fire her, should we?" as an example sentence?

I have just found that definition online here. There is no question tag. What they have said is:

"Let us assume for a moment that we could indeed fire her. Should we?"

They are two separate entities - a statement and then a question.

As I previously asked from you, I wanted to know is it possible to substitute "should" with "would" or "could" for example here? (In these two separate entities)

(Thanks for your explanation, indeed)

Yes, as a separate question, "Would we?" is possible. Just bear in mind that it's not a question tag.
