Dear friends,
I want to write an essay that confirms the truth of this idea-"The passion for change causes conflict between those who want change and those who want to keep the status quo."-

But I really find it difficult to prepare an outline for.

Could anyone help me to make an outline of it?

The conflict is between those who want change and those who don't want change. Or it is between those who want change and those who don't want the kind of change that is being forced upon them.

Welcome to Using English.

What are the main points you want to make in your essay?

The second one, the conflict between those who want change and those who don't want the kind of change that is being forced upon them.

I will discuss what makes conflict between those people. Comparison of those people in terms of change. And examples of conflicts...

Well, if Barb can't help you nobody can. She teaches. We learn.

:)

So not a teacher, but a writer.

So you have three main areas of discussion:
What creates the conflicts
How the people on the opposites sides of the drive for change differ
Examples of the conflicts

Is this the order you will discuss them? (It seems the second might be the third, so the examples come right after what creates the conflict.)

Well, I have a suggestion. Just start writing, and organize it as you go. Ask yourself what are the points of view and how do they conflict with each other. How do those conflicts manifest themselves in "real life"? Then come up with real life examples. Do you want to talk about recent conflicts or historical ones? Now, get started on the research. (Easy for me to say.)

:)
