Hi, I have to write, in the next days, an english summary of a technical topic. Is it in common to use the present simple for a summary?

Perhaps anybody here know some collection of tecnical summaries?

Yes. In fact, summaries of fiction and non-fiction texts are generally written in the present simple.

Only use question marks for questions.
What technical field do you mean? Can you be more specific?

You might try Googling for something in the field you're writing about.

Why do you have to write it? What are you going to do with it once you've written it?
