I know that in case of nouns, we can make a sentence by using "not" as well as "no".
Example- I am no saint. I am not a saint.
Question 1- Do the both sentences have the same meaning?
Question 2- Can we use the same arrangement with adjectives? Example- English is not easy. English is no easy.

Therefore, "A pen is no good." is not correct.

It's not natural. If you're describing something as "no good", you're saying it's useless. Also, you would be referring to something specific so the indefinite article is unnatural there.

This/That/The/My/Your/His/Her/Our/Their pen is no good. :tick:

It's not a replacement for "The pen is not good".
