As far as I understand, when we're using the present form, many verbs ends with an "s"

So, in this phrase: "They're thorns that make my body aches"
Why only the word 'aches' ends with an "s" and not the word 'make' too?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can clarify this.

"aches" is wrong. It should be "ache".

They are [the] thorns that make my body ache.

Only when the subject is singular.

The pain comes and goes.
The baby loves to dance.
My sister wishes you well.

Where did you find that sentence?
