[Grammar] doubt regarding keep and kept

Can anybody tell me which one is correct?

I have kept your ID card on your table. Please collect it when you are in office.
or

I have keep your ID card on your table. Please collect it when you are in office.

The verb "keep" in either form does not work in this sentence. The verb you use must be in the past participle form because it is used with "have". I would use either "put" or "placed". If the item of furniture is something used to work on, "desk" would probably be better than "table".

However, to answer the question about "keep"
I keep my keys in a bowl on the counter.
I kept a spare key under the mat.
I have kept keys in many places, but I still manage to lose them all.
