To me, the "this" part is pronounced [s].
1. How is the "this" part pronounced to you?
2. Is it fine to pronounce the "this" part [s]?
 
Well, I know what it's supposed to say. However, it doesn't sound like that at all.

As for "this" pronounce the "th" sound as you would any other word beginning that way.

The speed with which the entire sentence is said has resulted in the first half of "this" being almost inaudible.
 
Emsr2d2 may well be right, but I think it's possible there is a very slight jump in the recorfing,
