Don't be late night, will you?

I was wondering if it is incorrect to say 'do you' instead of 'will you'?

Thanks.

'Don't be late night' does not make sense.

Perhaps you mean 'Don't be late tonight, will you?'

Thanks, Rover.

Yes, you are right. Sorry for my typo. It should be ''Don't be late tonight, will you?'

Yes, it's incorrect.

You are confusing a command ('Don't be late') with a statement: 'You don't like tomatoes, do you?'

 This is reminiscent of an old (Elizabethan, I think) use of 'do you' in an imperative like 'Do you remember not to be late tonight' - note: that's not a question, it's an archaic imperative. You couldn't say it today and expect to be understood.
