Does [tʃ] have anything to do with [t] and [ʃ]?

There is no such obligation. Compare the pronunciations of /t/ + /ʃ/ in:

hat shop, chop
bit shifty, chip

This was posted in response to an earlier version of GoldfishLord's question: What is the reason why /t/ and /ʃ/ must combine in order to make /tʃ/?

@Linc - I have no idea what this has to do with the thread. Your sentence isn't complete and has no closing punctuation. More importantly, you should have received a private message explaining that you need to change your avatar. We don't allow users to show their email address anywhere on the forum. Also, you need to edit your profile information. We expect our users to be truthful with their information.
