Does marriage have a future in our society, or is it dying out? Support your opinion drawing on your personal experience, your observation of others, or your reading.

Some people say that marriage is something obsolete and unnecessary in modern days. However, there are still people who believe that marriage has vital role in society for many reasons.

First of all, marriage is a promise for a stable and loyal relationship between two persons. This commitment is made in front of many people and for some humans this is a guarantee that cannot be broken so easily. For that reason, many people prefer to make that important step in their relationship and receive an assurance for lifelong love and happiness.

The second reason why marriage still has a place in modern society is that sometimes is not a commitment only between two individuals but also between them and their child or children. Marriage is very important for people and their offspring in normative aspect. Marriage guarantees the children’s rights related to family property, for instance. In addition, the official commitment between two human beings ensures that they will fulfill the responsibility they have for their children’s education and well-being.

On the other hand, there are people, especially some of the young ones, who claim that marriage does not give extra guarantee for couples’ relationships. What is more, some of them believe that a piece of paper does not prove anything and it is not a reason for two people to grow old together. Marriage is not considered something necessary for fulfilling life.

To summarise, marriage still has its supporters in modern society. Despite the disapproval which some people show when it comes to marriage, there are still members of our society who believe that this commitment is a promise for a long-lasting relationship and a guarantee for their children security. That is why marriage has future in our society.

Some people say that marriage is [STRIKE]something[/STRIKE] obsolete and unnecessary in modern [STRIKE]days[/STRIKE] times. However, there are still people who believe that marriage has a vital role in society. [STRIKE]for many reasons.[/STRIKE]

First of all, marriage is [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] the promise [STRIKE]for[/STRIKE] of a stable and loyal relationship between two [STRIKE]persons[/STRIKE] people. This commitment is made in front of [STRIKE]many people[/STRIKE] others and, for some [STRIKE]humans[/STRIKE] people, this is a guarantee that cannot be easily broken. [STRIKE]so easily.[/STRIKE] For that reason, many people prefer to make that important step in their relationship and receive [STRIKE]an[/STRIKE] the assurance [STRIKE]for[/STRIKE] of lifelong love and happiness.

The second reason [STRIKE]why[/STRIKE] that marriage still has a place in modern society is that sometimes is not a commitment only between two individuals but also between them and their child or children. I don't understand what you mean by the underlined part. Marriage is very important for people and their offspring in normative aspect. I have no idea what the underlined part means. Marriage guarantees the children’s rights [STRIKE]related[/STRIKE] to family property, for instance. In addition, the official commitment between two [STRIKE]human beings[/STRIKE] people ensures that they will fulfil the responsibility they have for their children’s education and well-being.

[STRIKE]On the other hand,[/STRIKE] There are [STRIKE]people[/STRIKE] others, especially [STRIKE]some of the[/STRIKE] younger [STRIKE]ones[/STRIKE] people, who claim that marriage does not give an extra guarantee for couples’ relationships. What is more, some of them believe that a piece of paper does not prove anything and it is not a reason for two people to grow old together. Marriage is not considered something necessary for a fulfilling life.

To summarise, marriage still has its supporters in modern society. Despite the disapproval which some people show when it comes to marriage, there are still members of our society who believe that this commitment is a promise for a long-lasting relationship and a guarantee for their children's security. That is why marriage has a future in our society.

See above. You haven't actually answered the question though. By the end, I don't know if you believe it has a future or if it is dying out.

To summarise, marriage still has its supporters in modern society. Is this sentence and the personal opinion in it answer the question? Or should I change the essay completely?

Some people say that marriage is obsolete and unnecessary in modern times. However, there are still people who believe that marriage has a vital role in society.

First of all, marriage is the promiseof a stable and loyal relationship between two people. This commitment is made in front of others and, for some people, this is a guarantee that cannot be easily broken. For that reason, many people prefer to make that important step in their relationship and receive the assurance of lifelong love and happiness.

The second reason why marriage still has a place in modern society is due to the legal benefits that it brings with itself. For example, marital tax deduction and the fact that two married persons create an economic partnership, presumed under the law, are a small part of the benefits for married couples. The legal financial benefits are a serious reason why marriage will not die out soon.

There are others, especially younger ones people, who claim that marriage does not give an extra guarantee for couples’ relationships. What is more, some of them believe that a piece of paper does not prove anything and it is not a reason for two people to grow old together. Marriage is not considered something necessary for a fulfilling life.

To summarise, marriage still has its supporters in modern society. Despite the disapproval which some people show when it comes to marriage, there are still members of our society who believe that this commitment is a promise for a long-lasting relationship and, in addition, an action which brings with itself a plenty of legal benefits. That is why I think that marriage still has a future in our society and it is not dying out.

I wrote another essay on the same topic. Would you look at this one and would you tell what you think about it? Did I answered the question? What about my grammar? Thank you in advance!
