Which reply is better or more correct pls?

A. I'd like to. B. Sorry but i can't.

Which reply is better? [STRIKE]or more[/STRIKE] Are they both correct? [STRIKE]pls?[/STRIKE] (Unnecessary here and the word is "please".)

A. I'd like to. :tick: That's fine but it doesn't tell the person whether you're going to go or not. You might be about to follow it with "... but I can't".
B. Sorry but I can't. :tick: That's fine and makes it clear that you are not going to the party.

See above. We can't say that one reply is better than the other because they have different meanings.
