If teachers want to use English workbooks as their students' homework, can they say, "Do the exercises in Unit II of English workbook as your homework"?
Can they simply say, "Do Unit II of English workbook as your homework"?
 
If teachers want to use English workbooks as their students' homework, can they say no comma here "Do the exercises in Unit II of your/the English workbook as your homework"?
Can they simply say no comma here "Do Unit II of your/the English workbook as your homework"?
The shorter version suffices. Note my changes above.
