what is the diffrence :

.... we were able to diminish the number of errors in the application .....
.... we were able to reduce the number of errors in the application .....
.... we were able to decrease the number of errors in the application .....

what is the diffrence :

.... we were able to diminish the number of errors in the application ..... :cross: I don't believe "diminish" is used with a countable noun like "errors".

There is no difference between the following two sentences.
.... we were able to reduce the number of errors in the application .....
.... we were able to decrease the number of errors in the application .....
