Difference between "A bit too much and a bit much too"

Hello,

1. Times are "a bit too much" different today.

2. Things are "a bit much too" changed today.

I would be thankful if you would suggest me if the two sentences are correct, and if there is a better way to present them.

I don't know what either sentence is supposed to mean.
 
Neither works IMO. Something like Things are very different today and There's too much change nowadays would work better for me.
