This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

My favourite hobby is gardening. I especially like planting fruit. I've planted tomatoes and watermelons before. I'm currently growing honeydews. The seeds were from the Japanese honeydew I ate a few months ago. I was quite surprised that they successfully sprouted and blossomed in a very different climate. If they can bear melons, I will definitely show them to my friends.

I wouldn't use "successfully" there, but otherwise it's almost perfect.

I looked for Hong Kong on my globe, but I couldn't find it. Either Hong Kong is too small or my globe is. Anyhow, Hong Kong is south of Japan; so you should probably have a longer growing season.

Have you tried cherry tomatoes? One thing I discovered is that if you plant cherry tomatoes one year the next year they will come up on their own.
