I just discovered a fun fact about the first Paris Olympics from a book. In order to win a rowing event, the Dutch team replaced their cox with a kid because the kid weighted lighter. The lighter the cox, the faster the boat goes. It's interesting that at that time players could be changed randomly. I'd like to know how old the kid was. Maybe he was the youngest player and winner in the Olympics history.
