A typhoon is near Hong Kong. The wind was so strong that it kept closing my windows. I am worried that my windows would explode so I don't open them anymore until the typhoon has left. The room is a bit stuff now. It is rare that a typhoon occurs in November.

Since I am still worried my windows would explode if I opened the windows so I use the simple present:
I am worried that my windows would explode so I don't open them anymore until the typhoon has left.

There is a typhoon is nearby. Hong Kong. Yesterday/Last night/This morning, the wind was so strong that it kept closing blowing my windows shut. I am worried that my windows would might explode so I don't won't open them anymore again until the typhoon has left is over. The room is a bit stuffy now. It is rare that for a typhoon occurs to occur here in November.
