I have of late lost all my mirth... (Hamlet)

"Late" is treated as a noun and "of" is understood. "All" is an indefinite pronoun (and here the direct object). That should be easy.

Yes, I do too. It is simpler and does not require any understood words.

Sometimes, though, I think it is forgotten that words like "all" and "some" can be pronouns as well as adjectives.
