I've been trying to diagram this sentence by hemingway and want to get it perfect. The sentence is "A man can be destroyed but not defeated". I believe i have it correct but need some confirmation.

I would say: "A man can be defeated but not destroyed"
It means: The thing that doesn`t kill me makes me stronger
