I am a 72 year old lady and I'm taking a Bible class I need to diagram some sentences. As you can tell by my age, I don't have a clue about how to do this. My sentence is:

Enter by the narrow gate.

For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to distruction, and those who enter by it are many.

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Thank you.

The English in your sentences is dated.

Your first sentence would be parsed as "enter" (imperative verb with an assumed subject -- "you") + an adverbial prepositional phrase. The prepositional phrase is preposition (by), article (the), adjective (narrow), noun (gate). "The narrow gate" is the object of the preposition.

Sentence 2: Conjunction (for), the gate (article + noun -- subject), conjunction (and), subject ("the way"), copular verb (is), predicate adjective (easy), relative clause (that leads to destruction -- modifies "way"), conjunction ("and"), subject (those), relative clause (who enter by it are many).

Now using #2 as a template, can you do #3?
