Hi,

Which of the following is the correct one:
vice president-designate or
vice-president-designate ?
Can I use designate as a noun? Like:
All of designates are expected to....
is it a correct use?

thank you :-D

Vice-president designate is acceptable. To use designate as a noun would be incorrect. You could change that to designatee, but while following the "rules" just isn't comfortable. I would find a different way to state it.

thank you nomibird
