would like to describe the hand motion of someone running away in fear from a dragon.
it's like hand swinging and waving in the air as they run. But i do not know how to describe that
action appropriately. if someone can help me please.
"When the girls saw the dragon, they turned around and <hands flapping ??> and started to run hysterically towards entrance of the tunnel"
