Hi everyone,

My name's Nebojsha and I just joined here. Would be grateful If someone could explain the difference between these 2 sentences: how you dealt with it VS how did you deal with it?

Describe a difficult time that you experienced as a student.You should say:

  • when it was
  • why was it difficult
  • how you dealt with it ------> Can I say "how did you deal with It" instead? And what Is the difference?

Thank you very much.

Dealt = did deal.

Tell me how you dealt with it? = How did you deal with it?

Hi everyone.

My name's Nebojsha and I have just joined here. I would be grateful [STRIKE]If[/STRIKE] if someone could explain the difference between these [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] two sentences:
1. ... how you dealt with it [STRIKE]VS[/STRIKE]
2. How did you deal with it?

Describe a difficult time that you experienced as a student. (space after a full stop) You should say:

  • when it was
  • why [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] it was difficult
  • how you dealt with it ------> Can I say "how did you deal with it" instead, and what is the difference?

Note my corrections above. There is no need to capitalise "if", "it" or "is" unless they are the first word of a sentence.
