There are some sites on the web with practise tests for the FCE, have you looked at any of them?

Yes, I have. I have asked that question because my son's best friend wants to take that test in December, and he asked me if I knew a good book, besides the web sites. Since I don't, I posted that question here.

Regarding coursebooks - there are quite a lot of good ones. You may find the next one quite helpful
