What will be the most appropriate preposition ?

He goes--------- jogging every day

1-to
2-on
3-of
4-for

What has your question to do with 'correction'?

Fill in the blank.

You haven't answered 5jj's question. Why is your title "Correction"?

Because I didnt find any option to edit the title.

What [STRIKE]will be[/STRIKE] is the most appropriate preposition?

He goes --------- jogging every day.

1. to
2. on
3. of
4. for

Where did you find that question?

Please note my corrections above. Don't leave a space before a question mark. When you do a numbered list, write each number followed by a full stop, then a space, then the words.

Because I didn't find any option to edit the title.

These have no place in your post.

That explains why you didn't edit the title but it doesn't tell us why you chose to call your thread "Correction" in the first place.

Two things. One, there is no need to put anything in the blank. Two, that seems like a question you made up. Am I right?

Ok I got the answer.

No body knows the correct preposition.

OK, I got the answer.

Nobody knows the correct preposition.

Two things. One, there is no correct preposition. Two, I didn't know about you being our quiz master.

We all know the correct answer, even though it isn't one of your options. We're still waiting for you to explain why you used "Correction" as your original title.

We do our best to help when we can. We give this help voluntarily, in our free time. Sometimes, in order to help us give a useful response, or perhaps simply out of curiosity, we ask the OP a question. I for one do not appreciate it when members ignore our questions and/or make snarky comments.

My suggestion is that all of us teachers should ignore Nasir until he finds the courtesy to answer 5jj's question.

I do appreciate the selfless work you people are doing.
But my question was very simple that I asked regarding preposition.
I admit that I didn't choose the proper words, but you honourable people understood what I was asking.

This still doesn't answer the question about your title.
People can be selfless, but work cannot be selfless.

I still didn't get the answer too.

Okay/OK, I got the answer. [STRIKE]No body[/STRIKE] Nobody knows the correct preposition.
Glad[STRIKE]e[/STRIKE] to know that this forum is not only for the improvement of English, but ethics too.
I still [STRIKE]didn't get the[/STRIKE] haven't gotten an answer, [STRIKE]too[/STRIKE] either.

Haha, these replies are pretty witty (in addition to being passive aggressive and snarky). :)

But really, how hard is it to say something like "I didn't put much thought into the title, but now I can't edit it. I'll try to use better titles in the future." Or maybe, "This is a homework problem and I wanted a correction for my answer." Or whatever.

By the way, you've already been given the answer twice (by Tarheel), but it seems you've been too focused on perceived slights and on not responding to our questions to notice.

I have no objection in replying why I made the title which is responsible for these snarky remarks from either sides.

First I tried to ask something else but later I changed the question and forgot to change the title. That was all.

It was like a tempest in a teapot.

P.S. I have a great respect for all the scholarly persons here.
