I still will be constant and true to my Friend.

What does 'constant' mean in this sentence? Or is it only an intensifier?

Not the best choice of words regardless of intended meaning. But in addition to Rover KE's response, it could also mean that he/she will never change in his/her relationship with his/her friend.
