Hi,

Is it right to use two subordinate conjunctions consecutively as follows:

1. 'I could not meet him because when I went to his house, it was locked.'
2. 'He did not help me though when I asked for some money, he had more than enough.'

Thanks.

#1 looks okay to me.

In #2, though is in the wrong place: 'He did not help me when I asked for some money, though he had more than enough.'
