[Grammar] "Connect" as a noun.

Could the word "connect" be used as a noun ? For example, " The spoken language ringtone on his cellular telephone was more an emotional connect than a functional feature."

M-W has 'disconnect' as a noun, and I don't doubt that 'connect' will be more commonly used as a noun in some regional areas.

The word "disconnect" has in fact become a commonly used noun in recent years (not that I particularly like it.) However, I have never heard the corollary "connect" used as a noun. But, then, wait a few years and perhaps it will be!
