Congratulations on the new job.
Congratulations for the new job.

Are these sentences OK?

I would say, "Congratulations for getting the new job."

I think "congratulations on (your)getting the new job" is also OK.

Congratulations on the new job.
Congratulations on your new job.
Congratulations on getting a new job.

Those are the most natural ones I would use.

Does it mean that "for" is wrong?

"For" works for me.

"for" works for sarcasm.
"Congratulations for getting me the sack"; "Congratulations for gambling away our holiday money".
