Can I get some feedback on the letter that I wrote? Thanks!

Dear June,

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby! I am so happy to hear that both mother and child are healthy. There is nothing more exciting than the feeling of bringing a new life into the world.

You and Jim are a great couple and I am sure you will be fantastic parents for John. He is very lucky to have you for his parents. Here is to many years of happiness for all of you.

Sincerely,

Mark

That's fine.
I'd say "Here's to" not "Here is to."

If you already know the baby's name is John, you might start with "Congratulations on John's arrival" but there is nothing wrong with what you have written.

Those are good suggestions. Thanks!

I would also prefer "parents to John" to "parents for John."
