[Grammar] Concept questions

I am not a teacher. I am a learning about concept questions.

Could someone give me some advice on this question that I need to devise useful concept questions please.

E.g. "By this time next year I will have graduated".

You try first.
 
1. When will you graduate?
2. If you work hard enough will you have graduated?
3. ?
#2 is ok as far as it goes, but just imagine if someone asked you that question...doesn't it look incomplete to you?
#1 is OK, but not as a first question.

Are you doing a TEFL course? If you are it would be better for you to try to find more examples yourself.
 
Yes sir I am. I think once I figure out the importance of questions I shoud be asking then I will understand it more. Useful questions/questions to avoid etc.

E.g Are they in their final year?
What did they graduated in?
Where did they graduated?
Unsure if these type of questions are useful or not?
