One of our employees, Lloyd has reported that his wife has now tested positive for Covid-19.
He also mentioned that he had not been in close contact with his wife for the past six days as his wife is staying in a separate apartment since she has started working in the Covid-19 clinic last week.

Are the above sentences grammatically sound and correct? Please advise.

One of our employees, Lloyd, has reported that his wife has now tested positive for Covid-19.
He also mentioned that he had not been in close contact with his wife for the past six days as his wife [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] has been staying in a separate apartment since she [STRIKE]has[/STRIKE] started working in the Covid-19 clinic last week.
See above.
You can also replace the second "his wife" with "her", and the last one with "she".
