(as a turtle) I enjoy climbing the rock and sunbathing in the morning.

Should I keep the determiner "the" before rock?
or just change "climbing the rock" to "climbing rocks"?
 
Say ‘the rock’ if you only have one rock in your terrarium and ‘rocks’ if you have two or more.
