I hope that there are two characteristics that you will include in your report.

COMPETENCE


A teacher of English has to know English grammar. A teacher must be continually studying grammar. If a teacher

does not understand grammar, the students will quickly realize that fact. That also applies if you are referring to the

teaching of literature.

ENTHUSIASM

A teacher should be madly in love with what s/he is teaching, be it grammar or literature. If a teacher is excited about

grammar or literature, his/her students will also be excited.
