I'm wondering if "change the trajectory of his life" could be used in my sentence.
Mark used to sing and play the guitar for his friends, acquaintances and at birthday parties and other celebrations. But when music producer John Thomson heard him performing at a pub one evening, that changed the trajectory of his life.
