Question:
Do my sentences have the same meaning?

Sentence1:
I asked my girlfriend to read the schedule to minimize the chance that our time would be stretched.
Sentence2:
I asked my girlfriend to read the schedule to minimize the chance of our time being stretched.

This might be better.
