I want to request to my manager to allow me to take 10 days leave during the christmas holidays(3days). Please see below.

Sir,

I would like request you to grant me 10 days leave in conjunction with the Christmas holidays.( "in conjunction"- is it a correct form).

There was nothing wrong with saying "during" in the first place. Your example is rather wordy - "I would like to request that you grant me...." - you don't need to say so much.

Dear Sir

I would like to request 10 days' leave during the Christmas period.

OR

Dear Sir

Please authorise 10 days' leave for me during the Christmas period.
