I wanted to say that we are fixing some issues or bugs (no full stop here) but I said something like "The issues are getting fixed". Does it mean something else?

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

"We are fixing some issues" gives two pieces of information - that the issues are being fixed and who is fixing them.
"The issues are getting fixed" gives only one piece of information.

Note my corrections above.
