[Grammar] Broad, Large, Wide View

Are broad view, large view and wide view the same, as in:


1. "He took a broad view of the situation."
2. "He took a large view of the situation."
3. "He took a wide view of the situation."


?
 
1 and 3 are OK. 2 doesn't work in that context. The most common and natural use with "view" is "broad".
