Breaking down a sentence

I am not sure how to break down a sentence in this way. eg. Underline the subject; bold the verb. If the subject is the understood/elliptical you, write (You). Label nouns of address (NA). Italicize prepositional phrases.
1. The boss was shocked by the employee’s negative attitude.

Tell us how much you've worked out so far. Surely you can at least have a go at identifying the subject
