What comes after "both" have or has?
Example:
both have
both has
Directly after both

It would really make life easier if you gave us complete sentences rather than just a word or two.

Richard and Thomas are arriving soon. Both have appointments with the chairman.

Sorry, while I was surfing THE INTERNET I did find that "both" must be followed by "are." So, has & have came to my mind. Which one is appropriate. This is the game. Next time I will try to be stick to your commands as possible as I can.

Both is plural, so it is followed plural verbs such a have , are , do , do not , go , ...an so on.

As 5jj said, and as all of us keep saying, context is crucial: 'Both has and have are forms of the verb 'to have'."
